You have access to the entire home. You have your own small front deck, a back patio, and a small private parking space.

Important Creature Comforts: If the temperature inside is too hot or cold, you can start by opening the windows which all have screens. All the first floor windows are operable and one of the loft windows is operable. Please make sure to close them before departing. You can also turn on the air conditioners using the remotes located in the kitchen area and in the bedroom, behind the blue curtain. The LG mini splits have many benefits; controls humidity, schedule and automate the temperature (heating and cooling) for optimum daytime and night time comfort, minimizes noise from the outside, filters the air.

The Loft Stairs: The stairs are sort of like mindfulness practice...you always have to pay attention. Please be very careful. At night, turn on the lights and go up/down slowly. Use the handrail on your way up/down the stairs. On the way up, duck down at the last two steps to the top landing. 

Couch on wheels: Yup. You can move the couch to wherever you want. To lock the wheels in place, rotate the metal levers up on each wheel.

Appliances

The kitchen has a microwave, gas stove top and oven, toaster and air fryer, and rice cooker. Manuals for all the appliances are located on the shelf under the peninsula countertop. 

Note: the fridge’s ice-dispenser has a manufacturing flaw so we have disabled it. However, you can use the ice cubes in the freezer.

Garbage

We have a new garbage collection company. Garbage is collected very early Wednesday morning. A small trash bin and blue recycling bin are located at the northeast corner of your house. When the kitchen waste and recycling get full, please empty into those bins and on Tuesday night we will gather the trash and add to our bins out front. 

Parking

Street parking is free and there are ample places to park near the alley, but refrain from parking in the alley. We have a small parking spot next to the house, if your car is small enough you are welcome to park there. We will provide a LiftMaster gate remote. Please remember to return it, leaving it on the kitchen island. 

Security

There is an exterior Nest camera by the large gate. The ring doorbell is disabled.

Mail

Please do not use our address for deliveries. The post office is 3 blocks away and they have PO boxes you can utilize. Their number is 707-823-1427. Bulk mail acceptance hours are 11am-2pm

Hot Tub

We have a 2 person hot tub available to use on a reservation basis, just let us know two days in advance via text message. It is $40 per use and the temperature can be set up to 104F

Favorite Local Restaurants

With DoorDash/UberEats/Instacart you can order from any restaurant. Hopmonk, Khom Loi, Ramen Gaijin, Namaste Kitchen, Acre Pizza, D's Diner, Handline, Papas & Pollos, Blue Ridge Kitchen, Goldfinch, The Redwood. The Barlow is a great place to hang out at. Lots of eateries, shops, live music.
